Car history:
This is a Numbers matching 1969 L71 Complete Chassis with a Big Block 427/435 HP with (6 Pack) 3 2bbl Holley's and 4 Speed transmission from the Factory (1of only 2272 made). EVERYTHING IS EITHER NEW OR ALREADY REBUILT ! Professionally Built Engine,Transmission, Chassis, Rear End, New Shocks, Springs, Bushings, Rotors, Brake Lines, Fuel Lines, Brake Pads, Ball Joints, Exhaust, U-Joints, Gas Tank, Tank Straps ect. No expense spared, you could not redo any part of this complete chassis and make it better. Included is the Numbers matching Body in primer, birdcage is excellent. rear clip, doors, t-tops, rear window, door glass, seat frames, parking break, parking brake console, rear interior panels, chrome t-top panel, t-top interior panels, lower dash panel with gauge cluster, lower dash panel with map pocket, some moldings, door handles, window cranks, rear compartment frame and doors, rear window trim, and a couple of boxes of parts. There is not many Interior parts that I have for this car, the type of restoration done on the chassis is flawless, therefore I was unwilling to reinstall 46 year old interior, the Interior is the least expensive part of the restoration. beside all interior parts are available. This is a rare 1969 Corvette Project, all the hard and expensive stuff in complete..... just need to finish the body and interior. If you are looking to build a 1969 corvette this is the one! all work completed has been done professionally to Blue Ribbon Spec's; You can not build this rolling chassis complete with engine , trans and rear for this amount. everything is correct for the year and matching # body, chassis, engine ect. The reason I am sell this is that I am looking to build a 1968-1972 convertible Pro Touring type car. I was going to put a convertible body on this chassis after much thought I have decided not to break apart a numbers matching L71 If I do not sell it that is what I am going to do. Personally I do not want a numbers matching $90,000 Barrett-Jackson car... but as a Corvette fan I do not have the heart to ruin this car. once you break up a # matching car you cannot get it back together again and that's another one gone. I could be interested in a 68-72 convertible Corvette in any condition as partial trade. Please save my time and your and don't put in a stupid offer. The engine alone with the tri-power goes for $13,000, this car is for someone who know what there are looking at. There is a reason why I put a picture of the Alternator, Who ever buys this car will know why. I am sell the complete chassis , I included the body because of the matching #'s. I do not have a window sticker or tank sticker ( there are guys that can make them up for you but there not original). Original Color (972) White w/ Black Interior. I have the phone # to the guy who owned this car in the 1980 when he had it, it was all factory stock he know all about this car. I will give the winner of this listing he's phone Number along with the number to the corvette shop who did the restoration work. BiN $19,995. August 24, 2015.
